Capitalization is one of the topics covered in Grammar
Graphics and Picture Perfect Punctuation. Here's an example of how Jerry helps you
visualize one of the rules of capitalization.

To picture what to capitalize
Doctor Memory has developed a special baseball team. All of the players wear caps with tall eyes, so the word capitalize can be pictured. The
first baseman is pictured to the right. The rule at first base is you capitalize the pronoun I. The first baseman is wearing a cap with
tall eyes on the front of it. She is a pro golfer who is a Catholic nun.
That makes her a pro-nun or a pronoun. You see that she is hitting an eyeball with her golf club instead of a golf ball.
With this picture the words capitalize the pronoun I
have been made tangible, so they can be seen. When you study the entire baseball team you
will never forget that you capitalize the pronoun I, because she is
the first baseman on Doctor Memory's cap-i-tall-eyes baseball team. The rules of grammar and punctuation
are made tangible by Doctor Memory so learning them becomes fun and easy.
